My dog Champ didn't actually participate in my wedding, but we did put a little plastic toy pit bull that looked just like him on our cake with the bride and groom figurine.

But we want to know: Was your dog (or other pet) in your wedding? Or are you planning a wedding and planning to include your pet? Send your story and pics to me at "blog (at) petfinder.com" -- or post them in the comments here. (Here's how to post a photo in the comments.)

I train dogs to walk nicely down the aisle in yor wedding, I think its great that people include their pets in their special day!!

this is so adorable i want dogs to be my ringbeirer and flowergirl for when i get married
from anna may♥

White Dog, who has since gone to the Rainbow Bridge, was our Flower Girl. We were fortunate enough to have her companionship for many years.

My Finace and I are getting married in September.
I already got my 2 kids (a pit bull and a german shepherd mix) thier 'outfits'.
My pitty is going to stand right next to me and my shepherd next to my man.

I adopted both from Petfinder and am so excited to have them in my life!

I am planning on having my little Onyx at my wedding next year. My fiance and I found her on petfinder last year and having a wedding without her there would be wrong. She is going to walk down the isle with the flower girl.

I found my Coco Latte' through Petfinder almost 5 years ago, and she has been my constant companion.
She stood with me when I was married last December!

My dog is going to be in my wedding.
He's a purebred German Shepard, and I'm sure he'll really scare away my Fiance's unwanted relatives.
